As part of Holocaust Education Week 2013, on Monday November 4th, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, The Azrieli Foundation, in co-sponsorship with the French Consulate, the Neuberger Holocaust Centre, the University of Toronto Department of Psychiatry, and Mount Sinai Hospital are pleased to invite you to attend a special lecture by Dr. Boris Cyrulnik. Dr. Cyrulnik is a leading psychiatrist in France where he is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of the South, Toulon-Var.
His focus will be on “traumatic memory”. In this lecture, Dr. Cyrulnik will shed light on the neurological, emotional and sociocultural components of traumatic memory, with a specific focus on the Holocaust and psychiatric practice and mental health care.
